Today we used the very extensive transit system which took us to many places and quickly. Each time we left a station we were welcomed to a new neighbourhood to discover. For 31 euros, we got ourselves a 5 day Berlin Welcome Card pass, which came with other perks such as discounts to museums.
Transit operates on the honour system (which Vancouver is abandoning at a huge cost without any improvements to the service) and has minimal attendants. There is lots of graffiti, something we do not see in Vancouver.
That graffiti is interesting. Its true we don't have much in Vancouver. I must take my paint pen out for a stroll.
