Typical intersection in Berlin. Cyclist are waiting for THEIR light while on THEIR lane. Most streets are configured that way. Very safe for cyclists even though many of the bike paths (like this one) are not segregated. It is so enjoyable to ride amongst so many cyclists in the city of Berlin.
As a city that went through many crisis, Berlin understands the importance of water availability. Here's a picture of John pumping water at one of the many public water pumps throughout the city. Some are more ornate then others. This one is quite simple but works just as well.
